Signal Iduna Park, commonly known as the Westfalenstadion, is a football stadium in Dortmund, Germany, and the home ground of Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund. One of Germany's largest stadiums, it holds over 80,000 spectators for domestic matches and is famed for its steep Südtribüne — the "Yellow Wall" — which creates one of European football's most imposing atmospheres. Opened in the 1970s and modernized for international competitions, the venue regularly hosts domestic and international football fixtures and other major sporting events.
